My name is Denise Cantu and I teach engineering here at Desert Ridge High School. I am originally from Colorado, but was raised in Mesa, Arizona. I have a background in semiconductor material science research and web development. 

After returning to school to get a degree in Secondary Education Physics, I feel honored to be teaching here at Desert Ridge High School. I have two sons, one is attending ASU in IT, and one is a Robotics/Electrical Engineer at Northrop Grumman. My husband is an electronics technician, and we all enjoy building and creating things. I have many different hobbies and collect new hobbies every day.

I believe we can learn about many technologies and apply that knowledge to create great solutions and products.
