In 2023, the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) officially sanctioned girls’ flag football as a competitive high school sport, recognizing the growing demand and passion for the game across the state. This historic decision opened the door for countless female athletes to compete, grow, and shine in a sport that’s fast-paced, strategic, and full of energy.
