Welcome to Classroom!

Google Classroom is a collaboration tool for teachers and students that helps organize and streamline the classroom experience. With just a few clicks, you can create a class, add your students, and create assignments or announcements. You'll be able to see who's completed an assignment, who's still working on it, and assign grades when it’s finished. You can also instantly offer feedback to students, and see their questions or comments on their assignments.

To learn more about Google Classroom, we are going to use Classroom to teach you! (Madness, I know!) However, the most effective way to teach how to use a tool is to have the user use the tool to learn.

Each Google Classroom is setup in the following fashion:

1. Teacher creates a classroom (and hopefully adds some nifty content.)
2. Teacher shares super secret access code with their wonderful students.
3. Students go to http://classroom.google.com/ (a quick button for this can also be found in the "waffle" or near the web address bar.)
4. Students click Join a Class and enter that code you gave them (you remember? the one we got in step 2?)
5. You're done!
