Change Password

Your Port Angeles School District password is used in multiple areas including your e-mail. This is the same password you use to log on to your teacher station each morning. To ensure the best security possible, please reset your password following these steps:

!! You must be logged into a teacher workstation on campus to change your outlook password !!

After logging into a district computer (your teacher station, a district laptop, etc.) with your account, press CTRL + ALT + DELETE simultaneously (hold down CTRL and ALT, and tap the Delete key). See diagram below for the location of these keys.
A screen similar to one of the two pictured below should appear. Select "Change a Password" from the list by clicking it with your mouse (left button click).
A form will be displayed (see images below) prompting you to enter your old password, and to enter a new password twice.

In the "Old Password" field, type your current password (this is the same one you just used to log on to your computer with).
In the "New Password" field, type the new password you want to use. A strong password consists of at least 8 characters, includes 1 number, 1 capital letter and 1 special character. An example of a strong password would be: %ZeusRu1ez!
In the "Confirm Password" field, retype the new password you created in the previous step. If you typed your old password correctly, as well as entered the new password the same in both fields, you will get a message saying your password has successfully been changed. If not, you will have to verify that your old password is correct and that the "New Password" field and "Confirm Password" field are identical.

Please note: This process DOES NOT change your Skyward password!
