Our philosophy of developing the course
- Focus on the content that best serves the principal goal of the course: help students develop the ability to make evidence-based decisions using the concepts, models, and tools of microeconomics.
- Aim at developing a course package that is application-oriented and as practical as possible; keep theoretical derivations and technical details at the necessary minimum.
- Make the course sufficiently rigorous, avoiding misleading oversimplifications and dumbed down contents.
- Put a strong emphasis on evidence-based economic analysis and ensuring students’ data literacy.
- Make the course content exciting and fun to learn.
