DIRECTORS

Garrett Wallace is the Director of Bands at Wagner Middle School. He is starting his 5th year of teaching and spent the last 4 years teaching band in Leander ISD. Mr. Wallace holds a Bachelors Degree in Music Education from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. As an avid Saxophonist, Mr. Wallace has performed in over 10 countries, numerous state and national band conventions, and is currently a member of the Cedar Park Winds.  He is very excited to be part of the Wagner team and the Wolfpack Band! 

When not at school, Mr. Wallace enjoys spending time with his wife, Mariah, and their two Vizslas, Jaxx & Ivy. Their favorite hobbies are hiking, finding the best local restaurants, and exploring new places through travel!

Amanda Robison is starting her 16th year as a band director and first year as the Assistant Band Director at Wagner Middle School. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education and Master’s Degree in Instrumental Conducting from Texas State University. She has traveled to and performed in Ireland and Italy, and she has also performed at the White House as a member of Texas State University Chamber Orchestra.

When not  at school, she enjoys spending time with her family, playing golf, and traveling with her mom.
