Free and Reduced Price Meals

Georgetown Public Schools participates in the Free and Reduced Price Meals Program through the National School Lunch Program. Families who receive certain benefits such as SNAP, TANF, and others may qualify for free or reduced price breakfast and lunch for their children. Families may also qualify based on income criteria or if their employment circumstances have changed recently (job loss or reduction in hours).

Each year, parents may submit an application for free or reduced price meals for the upcoming school year. Families who received benefits in the previous school year have up to 30 school days to complete and submit a new application for the current school year. After 30 days, if a new application is not received for these families, they will be notified that their benefits will expire.
