Society of Creative Arts aims to create a community of supportive and non-judgmental writers at GU-Q. Our vision is to hone and train creative writers and thinkers in the Hoya community and provide a platform for their creative voices. We have a two-fold focus: to help the individual and contribute to the community. For the individual, we want to create a safe space where writing becomes an outlet of creativity. We want to encourage writers to be confident to share their writing with the GU-Q and EC community, and also submit their writing to external magazines and publications.

We hope to make writing a less solitary act and provide the community and support writers need. As undergraduate students, We do a lot of academic writing. We want this club to be a space wherein students can detach from academic writing and explore their creative side. Everyone is welcome –from beginners to seasoned writers!
