To educate, engage and empower female Hoyas, and create a community where they feel confident and comfortable to work to their greatest selves in a work environment.

Women’s social development’s mission in Georgetown is to spread awareness amongst the Hoya community about the global, regional, and local issues that affect women. We aim to assist the lives of women struggling in areas where it is hardest to be a woman, to spark a conversation on the controversial issues women in the Middle East are facing, whilst also assisting women in the Hoya community who are experiencing discrimination which prevents them from achieving the highest quality of education that Georgetown offers, meeting the Jesuit values that Georgetown aims to achieve.
