Georgetown University

Postdoctoral Association

MISSION STATEMENT

The Georgetown University Postdoctoral Association (GU PDA) strives to enhance the quality of the postdoctoral experience by providing a community for postdoctoral fellows. We offer a platform for the postdoc community to collaborate on and off campus, organize events and communicate relevant information that positively impacts the career and life of postdocs during their time at Georgetown University.

Monthly Meetings

Monthly meetings are currently held virtually over Zoom

The meetings include reviewing monthly tasks and planning future events for the benefits of postdocs.

Happy Hours

Happy hour is hosted virtually on the 3rd Thursday of each month.

Happy hours are meant to foster community and social interactions amongst our community.

Date and time are announced a week prior to the meeting via email.

All Georgetown University postdoctoral fellows are welcome!

EDITORIAL COLUMN

Show off those writing skills or just share what's been on you mind! We are starting a platform in the form of an editorial column in GUPDA website for the postdocs to express their creative writing skills. For more details, write to us at georgetownpda@georgetown.edu.
