Carol LaSasso, Ph.D.

While a doctoral candidate at the University of Maryland, Dr. LaSasso worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Education graduate school at Gallaudet University from 1974 until 1979, at which point she was promoted to Associate Professor. She was promoted again in 1984 to full professor. In 1980, she became the Director of the Satellite Reading Clinic for Deaf Children at Gallaudet University. She held that post until 1990, when she became the Ph.D. project director in the Department of Education at Gallaudet. Carol is currently a Professor in the Department of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology.
