Week Two - September 4th, 2025
Dear Parents & Carers,
It is with a deep sense of purpose and genuine privilege that I write to you as the new Principal of GEMS International School. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the warmth of this community and the shared commitment to helping every child flourish. GIS is entering a dynamic new phase, driven by a clear vision for the future, and I am honoured to lead this next chapter alongside you.
At the heart of my vision is a belief that education must inspire students to become change makers, creators, and critical thinkers; young people who will question the status quo and have the integrity to do the right thing, even when no one is watching. Together with our new executive leadership team, I am committed to serving our community with passion and dedication, ensuring that no child is ever left behind and that every learner has the opportunity to thrive.
I want our students not only to achieve academically, but also to have a strong voice and real agency in shaping their school. By creating opportunities for leadership, innovation, and collaboration, we will empower them to leave a legacy they can look back on with pride. At the same time, we will continue to build on the school’s areas of excellence, especially our pre-med and STEM programmes, offering innovative, world-class pathways that reflect students’ passions and ambitions, and prepare them for a future of limitless possibility.
At the heart of everything we do is partnership. I firmly believe that the most successful schools are built on strong, collaborative relationships between families and educators. Your insights, feedback, and aspirations for your children are essential to our shared success.
You are warmly invited to our upcoming ‘Meet the Principal’ coffee mornings. Alongside my leadership team, I very much look forward to meeting you in person and hearing your perspectives.
I am truly honoured to join this vibrant and forward-thinking community, and I am filled with excitement for all that lies ahead. Together, we will not only uphold GIS’s commitment to excellence, but also ensure it grows into a place where every child is inspired to dream, empowered to achieve, and equipped to make a meaningful impact on the world.
With best wishes,
Nevita Pandya MBE
Principal/CEO
Dear Families,
Thank you to everyone who generously donated their pre-loved uniforms and to those who came and purchased. This initiative is a wonderful way to reduce landfill waste and give items a second life.
All proceeds from the sale will go directly towards supporting community events throughout the year.
Once again, thank you for your continued support.
