School Photography 📸
For those students who missed their photo session in Term 1, a make-up day is scheduled.
Secondary School – Wednesday, 28th January - Thursday 29th January Â
Students are expected to wear full GIS uniform, as usual. Students who have PHE on the day that is scheduled for them to have their photo taken should wear their uniform to school and pack their PHE kit to change into. Home room teachers will advise students of their designated time.

Upcoming ConnectEd Session - DP & CP Pathways (G10–11 Transition). Tuesday 27th January, from 8:30AM to 9:30AM in the PYP Conference Room. This session will also be live streamed, link to follow shortly.

Dear Parents,
We are pleased to invite you to attend the Grade 10 Personal Project Opening Ceremony and Exhibition, taking place from Monday 2 February to Wednesday 4 February 2026. This event is a key milestone in the IB Middle Years Programme and celebrates students’ learning journeys, skills development, and final products.
Due to the size of the cohort, the event will run over multiple sessions as outlined below:
Grade 10 A, B, C and D
• Monday 2 February:
Opening Ceremony and Exhibition – 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm
• Tuesday 3 February:
Exhibition – 8:00 am to 12:30 pm
Grade 10 E, F, G and H
• Tuesday 3 February:
Opening Ceremony and Exhibition – 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm
• Wednesday 4 February:
Exhibition – 8:00 am to 12:30 pm
For the evening sessions, the Opening Ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 pm in the school amphitheatre, followed by the exhibition in the Multi-Purpose Hall (MPH). Morning sessions will consist of the exhibition only.
Students are encouraged to dress in business or formal attire on their exhibition day. Further details regarding student schedules and supervision will be shared directly with students in school.
The Personal Project Opening Ceremony and Exhibition are an important celebration of student voice, inquiry, and independent learning, and we warmly encourage parents to attend and support our students.

GIS Before & After School Arrangements Plan
Secondary students must wear their ID badges on campus. If your child has not yet received their ID badge, please direct them to Ms. Mary Ann at the Secondary Reception. Replacement ID badges can be ordered at the STS office.Â
Students are to wear plain black shoes with their school uniform. On PE days, students should wear sports shoes.
Uniform trousers must be navy blue (not black). Leggings are not to replacement for uniform trousers.Â
Leggings may be worn on PE days, only. -Â PE shorts are to be worn over the top.Â
Senior students (Grade 11 and 12) are to wear a tie.Â
