🥇 GEMS International Wins First Place at the Drone Soccer Challenge 2025!

We’re thrilled to announce that our students won First Place at the Drone Soccer Challenge 2025, held at GEMS Al Khaleej International School on November 8th! Competing against eight teams, our students showcased incredible teamwork, technical skill, and creativity, making us proud representatives of GIS.

Muhammad Musa (G11), and Sasha Yann Bereczki (G11)

🎉 Special Congratulations to Muhammad Musa and Sasha Yann Bereczki for winning Gold Medals for their exceptional performance!

The event combined the thrill of competitive sports with drone technology, teaching students about aerodynamics, coding, teamwork, and innovation. Our champions’ passion and perseverance truly stood out, from intense gameplay to the joyful victory celebration.

Secondary photos will commence on Tuesday, 25th November. In addition to being available for families to purchase, these photos will be featured in the yearbook. Students are required to wear the full GIS uniform, including black, as usual.

Key Reminders

Secondary students must wear their ID badges on campus. If your child has not yet received their ID badge, please direct them to Ms. Mary Ann at the Secondary Reception. Replacement ID badges can be ordered at the STS office.

Students are to wear plain black shoes with their school uniform. On PE days, students should wear sports shoes.
Uniform trousers must be navy blue (not black). Leggings are not to replacement for uniform trousers.
Leggings may be worn on PE days, only. - PE shorts are to be worn over the top.
Senior students (Grade 11 and 12) are to wear a tie.
