Dear GIS Families,
As we reach the end of this very unusual and challenging period before Spring Break, I would like to take a moment to thank you for the calm, support and understanding you have shown. Our students have demonstrated resilience, maturity and adaptability, and I am incredibly proud of the way our community has come together during this time. Thank you to those of you who have reached out with your kind words, this means a lot to us.
I hope the coming days provide an opportunity for rest, reflection and time with loved ones. We look forward to welcoming our students back refreshed and ready for the next phase of the term on the 23rd March 2026.
I would also like to share a brief update regarding the GIS Scholarship process. This is currently under review as we consider adjustments to the application window considering recent changes to the school calendar, including the impact of the revised Spring Break dates on the originally planned opening of 13 March. Further internal discussions are underway, and we will notify all Secondary families as soon as the review is complete with clear guidance on when, and in what format, the scholarship process will resume.
Thank you once again for your partnership, trust and support.
Wishing all our families a safe and restful Spring Break.
Kind regards,
Nevita Pandya
Principal/CEO

GIS Jaguar Squad Communication
We are pleased to announce the launch of the Official Jaguars WhatsApp Community. This will serve as a broadcast-only channel where coaches can share quick updates about fixtures, cancellations, logistics, and key dates.

WhatsApp Channels
Primary and Secondary WhatsApp Channels for our GIS community. These Channels will run on WhatsApp, meaning you will be able to manage your own notification settings and access the updates easily.
It is important to note that only our Parent Relations Executive, Helen Gornall, will be able to post messages to
these Channels and this will only be to share announcements/updates applicable. We encourage you to check
the relevant Channels regularly to remain informed about the latest developments.
We are introducing new trousers and joggers, which will be available through Threads from next academic year. In the meantime, students may wear plain navy blue trousers as part of the core uniform and plain navy blue joggers for the PE uniform if they wish.
GIS house color t-shirts and swim wear will be available to purchase from threads.
