HSC WEEK 2024/25
17 - 21 FEBRUARY
For the upcoming 2024/25 school year, we're excited to announce a slight change to our traditional parent information evening for HSC. Instead of the usual format, we'll be hosting a vibrant online travel fair. Here, each of our esteemed tour providers will be hosting breakout rooms to share information about their respective trips, ready to engage with you directly. This setup ensures that all your queries and concerns are met with accurate and detailed responses, straight from the experts themselves. While comprehensive information about the tours will be available on our website, this fair provides a unique opportunity for personalized interactions. So, mark your calendars and come prepared to explore and discover the enriching experiences awaiting your child.
WHAT IS THE HSC WEEK ALL ABOUT?
Higher Level Learning, Service and Career (HSC) week is an immersive educational experience that takes students outside the traditional classroom setting to explore and learn in a more hands-on and experiential way. The purpose of such a week is to provide students with a unique opportunity to engage in learning activities that may not be possible within the constraints of a traditional classroom. It aims to broaden students' perspectives, enhance their understanding of the world around them, and provide them with real-life experiences that help them develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. Additionally, an educational HSC can help students build stronger relationships with their peers and teachers, and provide opportunities for personal growth and development.
