The next DELF exam is April 24-27, 2017 @ HGEC, kamloops, bc
The DELF and DALF are six separate diplomas issued by the French Ministry for National Education to certify the French language skills. These diplomas are valid for life. DELF and DALF certificates are developed by the Centre International d’Etudes Pédagogiques (CIEP) and reflect the six levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFRL). In 2016, the DELF and DALF examinations are available in 173 countries. http://delf-dalf.ambafrance-ca.org/
All SD73 secondary schools received the Points de Connexion resource for the 2016/2017 school year. The kit is comprised of 15 texts (meant to be partner shared for oral language facilitation), and an online access password. This resource supports the extension of reading into personal oral discussion and also invites a personal written component. The open-ended leaning opportunities help to differentiate and scaffold chameleon type activities such as PBL.
All SD73 elementary schools received an Échos 1 resource for the 2016/17 school year. Aligning well with the redesigned curriculum, Echos Pro offers expertise in pedagogy, assessment, differentiation, and cooperative learning strategies. Linking literacy learning with FSL learning, this resource shows teachers how to transfer strategies from first language teaching into their French classrooms.
