I am excited to meet with you all this school year. This year we will become more technology literate with the use of G Suite for Education (various Google apps) in our learning tools.

I am Mrs. Tanayan, your 8A Lion's social studies teacher. You will learn U.S. History (from the start of the settlement of the English colonies in America to Reconstruction/post-Civil War).

This school year we will have sections of face-to-face learners, online learners, and a section of pre-AP students.

The school has placed safety procedures throughout the campus. We will continue to adhere to social distancing protocols and sanitizing areas throughout the day.

The school will be divided into two groups of students who will be attending Face-To-Face classes 2-3 times a week. Cohort A consists of students with last names A-J and Cohort B consists of students with last names K-Z. The cohorts attend classes on alternating days. A monthly calendar will be disseminated for students to track the days they attend classes. The calendars will be distributed and found on our school’s website at ums.gode.net.
