about the music program
During the school year, GATE teachers work after school with students from 4th and 5th grade. The students are taught various music curriculum and the GATE teachers provide supplies and instructional materials in a course that typically runs 35 consecutive days. The GATE Choir students perform in school events to students, parents, and teachers. Selected GATE choir members participate with the All Island Choir. Musical competition opportunities allow students to participate locally and nationally.
