Enjoy this video read aloud about a young boy’s wishful thinking of his perfect school! Have your child draw what kind of school they wish for.
Parents/Guardians, write a simple letter to your children about how you
feel, what you wish for them, etc. Your call on what you want to write. Then read aloud to your child/children!
DIY SENSORY / SQUISHY BAGS
Easy to make and endless fun to practice writing letters, numbers, or words.
Means something is straightened up and neat. Let’s make the room tidy.
SWAT THE NUMBER
Write numbers on post-it or square sheets of paper, lay them on a table or floor, then call out a number aloud, like 11, and your child needs to swat number 11. Challenge them with higher numbers on different days.
CITRUS VOLCANOES WARNING! AWESOME FUN! Might want to do this activity outside because it might get a bit messy. Use a plastic bin or tub.
Materials: Paper, straws, tape, and scissors. Have each family member build their own rocket and have a race to see which rocket will fly farther, or the fastest.
Drumming on pots, pans, cups, cans, or bowls. Pick a simple song like Happy Birthday or Row, Row, Row, Your Boat, etc. and have your child drum beats to the song. Use utensils to make different sounds.
