Chris Wills – Managing Director

Chris is Managing Director at GDB Civils Ltd. He has been in the construction industry for 18 years, working on a vast array of projects, including water and utilities large-scale civils and landscaping and general construction environmental services.  Chris holds a degree in Ecology, Conservation and Environmental Sciences, CITB Managers gold card, and a HND in Construction and Land Management.

Dan Birkett – Director

Dan has 14 years in the construction industry, working on large scale projects in the water sector, and environmental, ecological, and land management sectors. Dan holds a CITB gold card and certificate of management qualifications for site management and health & safety.

Toni Wills – Director

Alongside being a director at GDB Civils, Toni runs her ‘Lakeland Wildflower Nursery’ business. Toni ensures we deliver a sustainable environmental approach. Her knowledge of the environment, horticulture, ecological habitat creation, wetlands, and wildflower meadows is central to our rewilding and environmental services. Toni holds a Batchelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture.

Rosie Birkett – Director

Rosie has successfully developed a range of businesses in a short period of time and has grown them into very successful commercial ventures. We have been lucky to gain from her skills and benefit from her applied expertise at GDB civils. Rosie is responsible for commercial management within the business. 

Lynne Quincey – Director of Business Services

Lynne is an accomplished communications professional with over 12 years of experience running her own business. Her expertise spans various sectors, offering public relations, marketing communications, media, corporate communications, stakeholder engagement, and business management. services Additionally, Lynne is a qualified leadership coach and brings valuable experience to support GDB Civils Ltd. in achieving strategic growth. 

Shannon-Leigh Riley – Executive Assistant to the Managing Director

As the Executive Assistant to the Managing Director, Shannon supports Chris in the smooth running of the business. Shannon has worked within the civil engineering industry for over seven years and holds her SMSTS. Shannon has a breadth of knowledge in business, HR, quality, and document control. As well as being the company's Mental Health First Aider.
