About
The stage was flattened—literally—for our 2015 production of Flat Stanley Jr. Based on the popular book series, this performance followed Stanley Lambchop’s globe-trotting adventures after a bulletin board mishap left him just a half-inch thick. Our students leaned into the physical comedy and unique staging requirements of the show, bringing a sense of wonder and fun to the Gowanda auditorium.
The production was a major showcase for student Creativity, particularly in how the cast and crew handled the "flat" protagonist on stage. This required tight Collaboration between the performers and the tech crew to ensure the visual gags and world-traveling scene changes landed perfectly. From Hollywood to the Louvre, our students traveled the world while showing off their Panther Pride. 💙
