About
Gowanda took a "magic carpet ride" in 2014 with our production of Aladdin Jr. This vibrant performance transformed the auditorium into the city of Agrabah, following the adventures of a "street rat" with big dreams and a powerful Genie. Our students embraced the show's fast-paced humor and legendary musical numbers, bringing a beloved story to life for our local community.
The production was a major showcase of student Creativity, particularly in the elaborate costumes and the imaginative set design required for the Cave of Wonders. Bringing this show to the stage was a massive Collaborative effort, as the cast mastered high-energy choreography and vocal harmonies while the tech crew managed complex props and scene changes. It was a spirited performance that showcased the talent and Panther Pride of our drama department. 💙
