About
The Gowanda auditorium was transformed into a lush tropical rainforest for our 2005 production of Jungle Book KIDS. This energetic adaptation of the Disney classic featured our younger performers stepping into the roles of Mowgli, Baloo, Bagheera, and the formidable Shere Khan. The production emphasized student Creativity, particularly through the use of vibrant, animal-inspired costumes and a set design that brought the depths of the jungle to our local stage.
Bringing this story to life required a high level of Collaboration as students mastered upbeat musical numbers like "The Bare Necessities" and "I Wan'na Be Like You." From the synchronized movement of the jungle ensemble to the comedic timing of the monkey troupe, our performers showed great focus and Panther Pride. It was a spirited production that highlighted the growing talent within our drama department. 💙
