About
Seventy-six trombones led the way in 2003 as Gowanda brought the sights and sounds of River City, Iowa, to the stage. This classic Americana story followed the fast-talking Harold Hill as he transformed a town through the power of music. Our cast took on the challenge of mastering rapid-fire dialogue and iconic barbershop harmonies, delivering a performance filled with charm and vocal precision.
The success of the show was a result of intense Collaboration, particularly in the elaborate ensemble numbers and the period-authentic costumes. The student tech crew worked tirelessly to manage the transitions between the town square and the library, ensuring the story’s heart and humor reached every seat in the auditorium. It was a nostalgic and energetic production that highlighted the dedication and Panther Pride of our students. 💙
