About
In 1991, magic was in the air as Gowanda presented the timeless fairy tale Cinderella. This production brought a sense of enchantment to the stage, following the journey of a young woman whose kindness and courage—along with a little help from a Fairy Godmother—lead her from the cinders to the palace. Our students captured the elegance and humor of this classic story, delivering a performance that dazzled the community.
The show was a significant showcase of Creativity, particularly in the transformation scenes and the elaborate ballgown designs. Achieving that "magical" feel required intense Collaboration between the stage crew, who managed the carriage and clock-strike effects, and the cast, who mastered the graceful ballroom choreography. It was a royal success that highlighted the talent and Panther Pride of the early 90s, proving that "impossible things are happening every day." 💙
