About
In 1984, Gowanda took its very first journey to Sherwood Forest with this production of Robin Hood. Long before the 1993 revival, the Class of ’84 brought the legendary outlaw and his band of Merry Men to life. This performance established the high standard for storytelling and student-led Creativity that would define the department for the next four decades. It was a classic tale of justice, bravery, and teamwork that resonated perfectly with the community.
The production was a landmark of Collaboration, as students worked to master the medieval aesthetic and spirited ensemble numbers. This show is a cornerstone of our history, representing the talent and Panther Pride of a generation of alumni who helped build the very foundation of the Gowanda musical tradition. 💙
