I have 3 daughters, Chloe, Meredith and Delia, who all attend Gouverneur. I am a graduate of Gouverneur Central. I am an RN for the County.

I am 34 years old, married with a 1-year-old baby boy. My wife Brittany Buckmaster works for the Gouverneur School District as a Special Education teacher at the middle school. I am currently employed at CIVES Steel as a supervisor and have been with the company for eight years. I graduated from SUNY ESF Ranger School in 2011 with an Associates in Forest Technology.

Statement which addresses why you are interested in serving on the Gouverneur Board of Education:

One of the most important pillars of a community is its youth. The support and structure given to them as they grow has a massive impact on both their personal lives and futures as well as that of the community itself. Serving the surrounding community and helping ensure a positive future for its youth is important to me. I believe it should be important to all of us.

Personal Data

I've lived in Gouverneur since 2010. I'm a Senior Systems Analyst / Systems  Administrator at Corning, Inc. I have a son named Jackson who is enrolled at Gouverneur Elementary. My wife is a Reading Specialist at Gouverneur Elementary. I have a Bachelor's of Technology from SUNY Canton. I have also served on the St. Lawrence-Lewis BOCES Board since 2023.
