ASPIRE social studies curriculum adheres to standards set by the TEKS, the Texas State Plan for the Education of Gifted/Talented Students, and the National Association for Gifted Children's Programming Standards. Each unit is outlined utilizing the Parallel Curriculum Model, and lessons are designed with the Depth & Complexity Framework in order to ensure the curriculum is effective with highly gifted students. In addition, ELA and social studies content are intentionally integrated when possible.
