The first grade team is planning a bit of holiday fun for our fantastic first graders. We need help from our first grade families to ensure success. We are requesting that each family purchase small, non-edible trinkets from the dollar section at Target, Dollar Tree, Party City, party section at Walmart or Target, etc. for the number of children in your child's homeroom class. Trinket examples include pencils, pens, erasers, bouncy balls or other small toy-type prizes. Each student will share the trinkets with his or her classmates, so each student will come home with an assortment of special gifts from his or her classmates. Please send your child's items to school by Tuesday, December 5. Please contact your child's teacher with any questions.
Number of trinkets to purchase:
Ackels- 14
Carrasco- 15
Hernandez- 13
Hisel- 14
Thompson- 14

*The referral window for the next school year closes on December 15, 2023
The first grade team is excited to announce that plans for our big field trip are underway! First graders will be going on a field trip to the Dallas World Aquarium on Wednesday, March 27.
