Dot Day Celebration:
To celebrate "The Dot" by Peter H. Reynolds, Monday, September 16th, students are invited to wear dots!
Themed Reading Week:
September 9-13, we will be reading books related to "The Dot." This is a great opportunity for students to engage with the themes of creativity and self-expression.
Makerspace Time:
The following week, September 16-20, students will have their first "Makerspace" time in the library. They will have the chance to create amazing "Dot" inspired art pieces!
September Reading Challenge
Reading Logs will go home on August 30th.
Complete a September Reading Log to earn a collectible keychain. Help you class earn the Rockstar Readers Trophy!
If you lost your reading log, click the image below to print a new copy. Logs are due on or before October 1st.
Rockstar Reader Trophy Standings
Dear Parents and Guardians,
We are excited to announce our upcoming "Storybook Character Pumpkin Challenge" in the Learning Commons this year! This fun and creative event invites students to paint and decorate pumpkins to resemble their favorite storybook characters.
Important Details:
All decorated pumpkins should be delivered to the library on Monday, October 21st.
Students will take their pumpkins home on Thursday, October 31st.
We encourage creativity and imagination as students bring their beloved characters to life! This event not only promotes artistic expression but also fosters a love for reading and storytelling.
