The Sterling Health Science Academy uses Project Lead the Way- Biomedical Science curriculum. PLTW's curriculum promotes critical thinking, creativity, innovation and real-world problem solving skills in students. The hands-on, project-based program engages students on multiple levels, exposes them to areas of study that they typically do not pursue, and provides them with a foundation and proven path to college and career success. For more information, visit www.pltw.org.
The Practicum in Health Science- Certified Clinical Medical Assistant and Pharmacy Technician courses use Kaduceus curriculum.
The medical assisting curriculum prepares students to sit for the NHA Certified Clinical Medical Assistant exam upon completion.
The pharmacy technician curriculum prepares students to sit for PTCB's Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam upon completion.
Both courses offer hands on experiences through lab simulations and clinical assignments.
