How We Organize Ourselves

Central Idea: Humans interact with one another to achieve goals and to solve problems.

An inquiry to:

1. How citizens have systems in place to prevent problems.

         2. Why laws are made to protect and benefit citizens.

         3. How people interact with one another.

Citizen- a member of a country.

Law- rule that everyone must follow.

Vote- to choose something

Government- people who make the laws and make sure they are obeyed

I am fair and honest. I can make decisions about what is right and wrong for me. My actions match my words.

I listen to the ideas of others. I express myself in a clear way so others can understand me.
