A Resounding Success: Our Joyful 

Mid-Autumn Festival Celebration!

On October 6th, the 3rd Floor Podium was transformed into a hub of festive joy and cultural appreciation as our school community came together to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival. The "Chinese Traditional Experience: Mid-Autumn Festival" event, co-hosted by the NCSS Chinese Committee and the Moral and Civic Education Committee, was a resounding success, filled with laughter, learning, and the wonderful spirit of togetherness.

The lunchtime celebration was bustling with energy as students and staff eagerly participated in a variety of thoughtfully prepared activities.

• Lantern Riddles (猜燈謎): Laughter and thoughtful murmurs filled the air as participants of all ages put their wits to the test, solving clever riddles that hung from beautiful lanterns. It was a delightful challenge that brought smiles to everyone's faces.

• Lantern DIY (燈籠製作): Creativity shone brightly at the DIY station, where students and teachers meticulously crafted their own unique lanterns. This hands-on activity allowed everyone to create a personal memento of the festival while appreciating a timeless tradition.

• Moon Cake Party (月餅派對): No Mid-Autumn celebration is complete without the sweet taste of mooncakes. Participants gathered to share the delicious pastries, symbolizing unity and harmony. It was a heartwarming sight to see everyone enjoying these festive treats and engaging in cheerful conversation.

• Chinese Hanfu Experience (漢服體驗): A true highlight of the day was the Hanfu Experience. Many students and staff took the opportunity to dress in elegant traditional Chinese clothing, immersing themselves fully in the cultural richness of the occasion. The podium was graced with the beauty of Hanfu, providing a perfect backdrop for memorable photos and a deeper connection to heritage.

The event ran smoothly from start to finish, a testament to the careful planning of the organizing committees and the enthusiastic participation of our entire school community. It was more than just an activity; it was a meaningful cultural exchange that strengthened bonds and created lasting memories. The joy on the faces of our students was the greatest reward.
