Through vibrant strokes and intricate details, art has the potential to challenge norms and spark conversations. It serves as a catalyst for empathy, fostering understanding and connection among individuals from different walks of life, the voices of those who may struggle to be heard. It's a means to amplify marginalized perspectives, shedding light on social issues, advocating for change, and fostering a collective sense of empathy.
In this section of the exhibit, let us embrace visual art not just as a form of expression but as a tool for advocacy—an ally in the pursuit of justice, equality, and a world where every voice is not only heard but celebrated.
In a world inundated with noise, we present to you artworks of local artists-
silent advocates, allowing people to pause, reflect, and consider alternative viewpoints. Vehicles for social change, a call to action, and a reminder that every stroke, every color, holds the potential to contribute to a more compassionate but just society.

People often turn a blind eye on those who experience poverty. The muse may be a person experiencing poverty, or one who is privileged enough turning a blind eye to poverty. The crimson paint symbolizes that we are wrapped in vibrant illusions in disguise of how poverty taints us.
Those marginalized are often brainwashed into thinking that they are living in good conditions because the government or those who are in societal power convince them that they can have a good life by simply living in those conditions. There is a community of the sightless poor in a world where darkness reigns and people in positions of authority have created an illusion that hides their reality out of malice. They are robbed not only of their vision but also of the truth; they inhabit a world in which lies and false tales conceal their poverty and difficulties. There are also people who glorify the living conditions of the poor, making it seem that they are well in the media because they are “happy the way they live.” Thus, this makes them blind to the reality that the poor should not be oppressed by the hardships they go through to make sure they have food on the table.
May this art be an eye-opener for those who are privileged enough to realize that the poor have rights just us equal as us. It is not the poor’s fault that they are because they are not given enough opportunities to live a good life by those in power. What we can do is to speak up about their rights to simply live a comfortable life. We all deserve to be in standard living conditions and with basic necessities within our reach. Those in power and privileged should assist those who are in dire need of help and assistance, because we are one community at the end of the day.
The art is about a young boy having to choose between fighting for his country, which is currently inhabitable, or fleeing for his life and future—his freedom. Will he fight for his country, his people, or will he leave to find a better life elsewhere? Either way, he loses something very significant to him.

“You can be anything you want.” A verse so common yet impossible to achieve. With activists all over the world fighting for freedom and fairness, they recognize that each individual has unique talents, beliefs, and perspectives that each could bring to the table. Despite that, these creative ideas are often too limited by external forces and systematic challenges that prevent them from reaching their full potential.
“Under the Same Blue Sky” is a playful and vibrant artwork that seeks the universal desire for freedom and fairness. Underneath a vast blue sky, a diverse group of individuals from different professions. Whether one might be a farmer or a doctor, both important figures in society, they all share a sky that connects them. The sky serves as a metaphor for the infinite possibilities that are waiting for us if we work together to create a brighter future.

As we can see in the artwork there is a woman wearing 1800 salve clothes, we can also see strings from above that are controlling its entire life. It is also stepping
in a modern technology or a phone that represents how slavery still exists up until now and how clueless people are when it comes to this societal issue. The big red cross behind shows how there are still people bound in slavery and it is also a symbol for awareness.

People, particularly those in the upper classes, refuse to understand how prejudice and inequality affect us. How they are far more privileged and have greater access to human needs. They do not see how individuals in the lower class struggle, work, and put their blood, sweat, and tears into being able to provide for their needs, bills, and health care services. What exactly do they do? Discriminate against us, belittle us, and look down on us. What happened to our rights?
There are powerful people who are supposed to help their countrymen, yet abuse the power they hold to play with the laws and rights of everyone. Putting justice in their own hands, not for the people, but for them. The countrymen are jailed and held by the neck, scared to fight for their rights.
