Wellness Day 2025 (CRC)
Wellness and recreation day for faculty members and student assistants.
Background
The Wellness and Recreation Day is an initiative designed to promote holistic well-being and strengthen camaraderie among faculty members and student assistants of the College Reading Center. Recognizing the importance of maintaining work-life balance, the activity provides a space for relaxation, physical activity, and social interaction outside of regular academic responsibilities. Through games, team-building exercises, and wellness-focused sessions, participants are encouraged to prioritize self-care and build a supportive community within the University.
Impact
The Wellness and Recreation Day fostered a positive and inclusive environment that enhanced morale and strengthened relationships among faculty members and student assistants. By offering opportunities for rest, recreation, and connection, the activity helped reduce stress, boost motivation, and promote a sense of belonging within the College community. Beyond the day’s activities, it reinforced the University’s commitment to the holistic development and well-being of its personnel and student workers.
