Background

On 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟖, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒, the APSA Committee on Outreach (COO), in collaboration with the Ateneo College Alumni Board, hosted its annual 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐦𝐚𝐬 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐲 𝐎𝐮𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 for the hardworking 𝙢𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙛𝙛 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙨𝙚𝙘𝙪𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙤𝙣𝙣𝙚𝙡 𝙤𝙛 𝘼𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙤 𝙙𝙚 𝙉𝙖𝙜𝙖 𝙐𝙣𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙮. With the theme "𝐀𝐏𝐒𝐀𝐥𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐭: 𝑨 𝑪𝒉𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒎𝒂𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝑯𝒐𝒑𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑯𝒆𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑯𝒆𝒓𝒐𝒆𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝑺𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒊𝒄𝒆," the event at Belardo Hall was a true celebration of gratitude, community, and shared joy—a heartfelt reminder of the season’s spirit of giving. This year’s Christmas Party Outreach was about more than festivities; it was about honoring the contributions of our ate’s and kuya’s who work behind the scenes to keep the university safe and running smoothly. These hardworking individuals are the heart of the AdNU community, and this event was our way of showing them how much they matter. The program was filled with activities that brought smiles and laughter to everyone’s faces. From lively games and raffles to heartfelt messages of appreciation, every activity was planned to make them feel special. Our ate’s and kuya’s enjoyed a delicious meal and bonded over the warm, festive atmosphere. A highlight of the day was the distribution of Christmas gift packages, made possible by the kindness of our dear donors and sponsors. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐮𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐀𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 served as the event’s co-presenter, while 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐊𝐨𝐩𝐢 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 supported the event as a minor sponsor. These simple yet meaningful gifts symbolized the community’s collective gratitude and the bayanihan spirit that drives APSA COO’s initiatives. More than a celebration, the Christmas Party Outreach is a meaningful way to give back to those who give so much to our university. By shining a light on the efforts of the maintenance staff and security personnel, APSA COO reaffirmed its commitment to fostering a culture of care, respect, and service within and beyond the university. To everyone who contributed to this beautiful event—whether through time, effort, or generosity—thank you for making this event a success. Together, we brought hope, healing, and happiness to our ate’s and kuya’s. Here’s to continuing this tradition of giving and gratitude in the years to come!
