BEFORE registration, students must do the following:
Complete your JCMS -- Middle School: Naviance Career Key & Career Cluster Finder by March 6, 2024
Complete your JCMS -- Creating your High School Course Plans by March 14, 2024

Registration Cards are due by Wednesday, March 14, 2024!
1. High School Curriculum Guide - This is your High School Curriculum Guide. It will also answer many of your questions, including course offerings at CHS.
2. Review the CHS Parent Letter: You should get a copy to take home to your parents. Please review for details about the upcoming parent night at Cherryville High School.
3. High School Registration Form - You receive your high school four year plan cards at Chavis during the registration presentation on March 13. After you have discussed your plan and elective choices with your family, complete and return your High School Registration Form. This card needs to be returned to your homeroom teachers by March 14, 2024! ALL students assigned to attend CHS will complete this process even if you apply for a choice school.
4. Waivers - If you need a waiver form, please email me. Remember, waivers are for students who, after speaking with your parents, you decide it is best to take a class that is not recommended by your high school counselor. For example, if you are signed up for honors English, but you want to take regular English instead. Another example, if you are signed up for World History, but you want to take World History Honors. If you need one of these forms to request changes like this, please email me to request the form. The form will need to be signed by your parents and returned to me.

Cherryville High School is our direct feeder school. Most JCMS students will be attending CHS. All students assigned to attend CHS will register for CHS even if you apply for a choice school.
