Concord Elementary HSA

The HSA at CES is an independent 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. It consists of a team of parents who volunteer their time, talents, and enthusiasm to achieve the organization’s mission. The HSA operates under bylaws and its mission to maintain tax-exempt status. Whether you have a single hour in a single day/evening or the entire school year, there is an opportunity to participate in your child’s school environment. We welcome new ideas, new energy, and any comments or suggestions that will facilitate our objectives!

Mission Statement

The Concord Elementary Home and School Association’s mission is to facilitate opportunities that enrich the learning environment of our children through fundraising activities and general support of faculty, staff, and administration. The HSA complements and assists to coordinate the direction and goals of the school. We strive to realize our school’s vision "a community of students, families and staff dedicated to supporting our students to reach their social, emotional and academic potential in a safe, caring and inclusive learning environment."

Greetings from Concord Home and School Association

Concord’s Home and School Association would like to extend a warm welcome to all of our families. For those of you that are new to our school, Concord’s Home and School Association is a group of dedicated volunteers who help fundraise and plan fun social activities for the students and extended educational experiences and programs. Concord’s HSA will be planning lots of fun activities to bring our school community together throughout the year. We will host a family fun night where the whole family is invited to play BINGO and win prizes, a family night at Oasis so that the children get to interact with their peers outside of the classroom environment, a book fair, and a holiday shop where the children are invited to shop for gifts in “secret” for their family members and SO much more!! Our goal is to bring the HOME and SCHOOL together into ONE Concord Community!!

The HSA also has a variety of fundraisers that help make all of these social events happen, and enables us to provide extra educational programs and resources that benefit all of the students at Concord Elementary School. Assemblies, grade level projects, library books, classroom materials, playground equipment and iPads are just some of things we have been able to provide through your generosity. We encourage all of our families to become members of the HSA, so that we can continue to connect the HOME and SCHOOL. Campaigns such as the Yankee Candle Sale, Coupon Book, Display My Art and our Annual Auction help us to raise the necessary funds to boost your child’s experience at Concord. Our volunteers work hard for each and every student at our school, and that’s part of why Concord is such an amazing place to be!

We invite you to become involved and to be a part of our team! Even a little bit of your time makes a BIG difference. We are always looking for general volunteers throughout the year. Keep an eye out on social media for volunteer opportunities. Our general volunteers are contacted as the need arises through sign-up genius and you can jump in when it fits your schedule.
