Room 2306 (1 hour session) - Kids Deserve It is a simple yet profound message and we should all join the conversation. Ride the bus with your students, read books to them, ride tricycles with Kindergarten students - stop making excuses and make it happen for your community!

Room 2100 (1 hour session) - HyperDocs are interactive Google Docs that have the potential to shift the way you instruct with technology. HyperDocs capture your lesson plans and instructional delivery strategies, allowing students to personalize their exploration of content, collaborate with peers and creatively show what they know. HyperDocs are for educators who are already using Google Apps and are ready to take tech integration to a transformational level. A laptop or Chromebook is required for this session.

Room 2300 (1 hour session) - In this session, you will explore podcasts to consume AND the steps required to create podcasts. You will add podcasts to your professional learning playlist, and you will find ways to clip and curate podcasts as a medium for content delivery. Bring your earbuds and your ideas, and get ready to record! A laptop or Chromebook is required for this session.

Room 2204 - Do you wish that you could visit with authors and other professionals for FREE? Then Google Hangouts and Skype is your dream come true! Come learn about how to use Hangouts and Skype along with how to connect with people virtually for no cost.

Room 2101 - Secondary Focus - GISD staff will learn how to implement mini lessons utilizing databases/digital resources to find quick answers instead of using Google. Teachers will get to share ideas as to how to apply the digital resources with TEKs across multiple content areas. These mini lessons can be utilized as soon as students walk into the library/classroom via Ready Hub or Google Classroom. This will also be a sharing session for ideas to use Gale tools, Britannica, etc. - also known as TexQuest Digital Resources.

Room 2201 - Google Drive is the best thing that you are not using! We will cut out all of the fluff and take you through the basics. You will be speeding away to use your very own Google Drive!

Room 1403 - Technology in the classroom isn't just for big kids. Learn how to navigate 3 FREE iPad apps you can take back to your classroom starting the first week. Each app covered can be used year long to cover all content areas and promote higher level skills and differentiation.

Room 2502 - Come join us to learn how to incorporate Seesaw into your math classes. We will share a variety of activities you can utilize with your own students.

Room 1402 - This session will walk educators through creating and implementing Google Jamboard in the classroom. Educators will learn how Jamboard can effectively replace white-boards in a digital classroom and enhance student engagement and interaction. At the conclusion of this session, educators will walkaway with an in-depth understanding of Jamboard, as an instruction tool, and strategies for using JamBoard to create a student-centered learning environment.

Room 2500 - A quick survey of tips and tools from Google that you can use to create and edit basic graphics for your classes!
