Room 2204 - Elementary - The Seesaw application allows the lines of communication to remain open between teachers and parents even in populations that change contact information frequently. Seesaw allows for frequent positive communication home on every child and private conversations between teachers and parents. When parents can easily access what their child is doing in school, they are more supportive and have a better view of the teacher and school as partners.

Use flipgrid to efficiently assess student mastery and speaking skills. Speaking proficiency is especially important for our English Language Learners. Room 1403 - Secondary - Innovative ways to bring social media into your classroom - from Instagram quizzes to twitter polls and creative hashtags. How to navigate the student culture of social media professionally and positively.

Room 2502 - Adobe Spark is now offered to all GISD students. This is a fun way for students to quickly create Infographics or Videos without taking a week out of your lesson plans. Come see how to create and share your creations.

Room 1402 - Teachers will learn how to find, select, and incorporate animated gifs in lessons and assignments. Animated gifs incorporated into multiple choice assessments can stimulate writing, analysis, and engagment.

Room 1500 - Learn how to integrate released STAAR questions into video lessons. Videos can be as simple as a vice over power point or as complex as ones made from a fancy program. The hardest part is making the video and tips will be provided on how to get started.

Room 2500 - A quick survey of tips and tools from Google that you can use to create and edit basic graphics for your classes!
