Digital Pedagogy in the Garland ISD
This month’s focus on “Digital Pedagogy” explores the teacher's ability to inspire and cultivate student innovation to address real-world challenges.
In elementary schools, this could include learning experiences in which students collect, organize, and interpret data using digital tools like Google Forms and Sheets to explore possible solutions to current problems.

Technology integration in the classroom should include content, pedagogical, and technical knowledge to be successful.

Digital Learning Month!!
This year GISD is having Digital Learning Month!
Digital Learning Day was created when many "were uncertain about the role digital learning could play in their classrooms." The inaugural #DLDay was in 2012 by All4Ed. Knowing how busy the month of February can be, this year GISD is promoting Digital Learning Month. Think about how your classroom can participate in #GISDDLmonth this year!
