School uniforms are mandatory. Our school uniform demonstrates and shows a collective representation of the Bill Crothers Secondary School spirit. Wearing appropriate clothing assists in ensuring a safe and respectful school environment. All students must be in BCSS uniform when travelling to and from school and while attending a school field trip or sport event. A student that is Ready to Learn is wearing:
A BCSS logo on their outermost layer
Any inner layers such as a t-shirt under a BCSS zippered hoodie or jacket etc. must be BCSS colours; grey, black, dark blue, red or white.
Shirt cannot be changed in any way e.g. cut off sleeves, neckline or shortened
Pants or shorts must be black and no denim. Pant and shorts must be worn at waist level with no undergarments visible
Hats and toques (without inappropriate images and slogans) as well as religious scarves and head gear are permitted. Direction on other permissible/non-permissible head wear will be shared at the safe schools assembly
Uniform Infraction Consequences
Students are expected to be in uniform in all areas of the school at all times & school events, field trips etc..

First time: 1 full lunch detention
Second time: 3 lunch detentions + call home
