University Specific Awards

Queen's University offers a major scholarship known as the Chancellor's Scholarship. Click on the Queen's logo for the application.  Students interested in applying for this scholarship must apply to Queen's through OUAC first.  Typically this needs to be completed by mid-November.

This scholarship application is highly competitive and requires school sponsorship, in order to be considered for school sponsorship, a copy of your completed application will need to be submitted to the guidance department by  November 10th at midnight.

Western University offers a major scholarship through the National Scholarship Program. Click on the Western logo for the application. Applications typically open in late November for this scholarship.  This scholarship requires school sponsorship, in order to be considered for sponsorship, a copy of your completed application will need to be submitted to the guidance department on Friday, February 7th.

The University of Guelph offers a number of major scholarships. Click on the Guelph logo for the applications.   Applications are typically due near the end of January.

Lakehead University offers a generous scholarship program including free tuition for those students attending with an entry average above 95%. Click on the Lakehead icon for more information.

Trent University offers a scholarship program offering a $3000 automatic scholarship for those students attending with an entry average above 95%. This is automatically considered without an additional application.  Click on the Trent icon for more information.

Founders’ Academic Merit Scholarship 

$36,000 per recipient 

Awarded to 10 students each year

This scholarship recognizes academic achievement, leadership and extracurricular activities. Recipients will receive $9,000 per year over four years of full-time study, for a total of $36,000.
