🇦🇺 RSIC 2026: VOYAGE TO SYDNEY!
Unite, Explore, Lead: Visions for the Future from an Ancient Land
Good day! Get ready for a life-changing adventure! In 2026, Barker College in Sydney, Australia, is proudly hosting the Round Square International Conference (RSIC), bringing together students and educators from over 270 schools in the global Round Square network.
This is more than just a conference; it’s an opportunity for students to connect with the world and for parents to invest in unparalleled global character development.
🌍 What to Expect in Sydney
The RSIC 2026 is designed to be massive, featuring a jam-packed, six-day program that brings the Round Square IDEALS to life under the theme: “Visions for the Future from an Ancient Land.”
Ancient Land, Modern Future: We will explore the future, grounded in one of the world's oldest and continuous cultures, shaped by colonial history, and enriched by multicultural influences. Students will connect with "First Nations voices" and celebrate the spirit that shapes modern Australia.
Global Networking: Students will meet new mates and swap stories with peers from across the globe, tackling big ideas and leaving with a richer understanding of humanity.
Active Engagement: The program includes cultural immersion, active challenges, and inspiring speakers (innovators and leaders) who are making a real impact. Students won't just be listening; they’ll be using their voice to shape tomorrow.
Unmatched Growth: This conference is about coming together, learning from the past, standing united in the present, and stepping forward with hope. By the end, students will leave with new ideas, lifelong friends, and the confidence to lead.
Six days. One city. A thousand stories. Will yours be one of them?
Come and join us down under!
It is a gathering of students from member schools all around the world who debate, learn and apply the six ideals of Round Square.
You will share perspectives, debate topical issues, forge friendships, support local communities, and develop international understanding.
The conference is divided in focus days where adventure and service are some of the key elements.
A typical day in the conference involves meetings peers from other schools (around 1000 in the international conference!) and exploring the area, enjoying food and the culture of the host school/country.
You are going to do activities incorporating environmental, cultural, adventure and community service.
Evenings feature motivational speakers and follow up with student Barazza (discussion) groups lead by students leaders from the host school
