Stratford Middle School students are assigned a daily advisory period that is scheduled with a variety of activities from ACP day, PBIS day, Intramurals, Intervention, connecting with peers and advisor / advisee one on one time for connecting and relationship building, grade checks and academic support and organization.
Tiger Time is designed to be an extension of learning time with infused Social/Emotional lessons, study / homework time, an intervention and support time, as well as a time to make up tests.

Middle School Students have Physical Education on an every other day rotation. They are either assigned PE on 'A' Day or 'B' Day while they have another class on the other day. The A/B day rotation is typically in the school announcements online off of the main district website.
Opposite of Physical Education students will be placed, by their choice, in band or choir or community connections. General music is also offered with enough student requests.
Community Connections is a non music course where students learn about the importance of volunteerism, connect to the community and school needs and participate in projects for a better school, community, school and self.
Math and Reading Foundations
Middle and High School students may be placed in a Math Foundations course and / or a Reading Foundations course to provide intervention and build base or foundational skills to support greater success in current and future math and English courses and content related to math and reading.
Study Skills - Grade 8 students may be placed in the Study Skills course in the trimester rotation of exploratory courses to support development of strong study skills including organization, processing new information, retaining information, time management and more.
