Hello!
My name is Sarah Baltus and I am the middle school counselor and ACP coordinator for the Stratford School District.
I am a graduate from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point where I have a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and minors in both Child and Family Studies as well as Nutrition. Further, I have a Master's degree in Professional School Counseling from Concordia University-Wisconsin.
In my spare time I enjoy being with family, playing volleyball, shooting hoops, lifting weights, and reading.
I believe that sound students thrive with strong relationships. I am eager to work with parents, students, and community partners to aid in student success.
If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me!
We, as Stratford School District Counselors believe that:
All students are capable of achieving high levels of success
Students deserve for their developmental needs and individual differences to be supported by a comprehensive school counseling program
School counselors must be leaders, advocates, and collaborators who create equitable access to rigorous curriculum and opportunities for self-directed personal growth for every student
Each student must have access to full-time, state certified, masters-degree level school counselors to deliver the comprehensive school counseling program and abide by the ASCA Ethical Standards
The school counseling program is planned, coordinated, and evaluated with input from the educational community and other community members
The school counselor will use data to design, implement, evaluate, and continuously improve the comprehensive school counseling program
The school counselor will honor the district mission: Committed to Students, Committed to Community, Committed to Excellence
