Dear Families,
Since this is my final Friday Check In, I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for a great school year and for all your kindness and support. Also, thank you for sharing your children with me and trusting me with their education. It has been a pleasure getting to know your child, teaching them, and watching them challenge themselves and grow. They are amazing human beings and I will miss them! I hope to see many of you at our end of year celebration at Discovery Park on June 11 and I will send a final email next Thursday with a link to the class iMovie.
Our 5th graders built and launched rockets on Monday, and it was an unforgettable experience! We had so much fun watching their creations take flight while also reflecting on the symbolism behind the activity—launching their rockets as they prepare to launch into 6th grade next year. Check out these amazing photos: 2026 Rocket Launch
A special thank you to Jason Edwards for spending time with our class and teaching us about aviation. Students had a fantastic time learning about flight, and the day wrapped up with a paper airplane-making contest and airplane snacks. It was a huge success and a wonderful learning experience for everyone! Click her for a great photo: Airplanes!
Math: Unit 7 packets are due on Monday, June 8. The Unit 7 math assessment was today and will be posted on Seesaw on Monday, June 8.
