The Ministry of Science and Technology of Taiwan founded a program called "Taiwan Consortium of Emergent Crystalline Materials (TCECM)" to explore emergent materials in 2009. As a vital laboratory of this program, the Atomic Foundry of Complex Oxides aims to develop new functional materials by atomic engineering. It serves as a platform to connect researchers domestically and internationally in related research fields. To promote the performance and visibility of this platform, the Taiwan Oxide Forum was held in 2016. Due to the outbreak of COVID-19, we decided to run an online forum starting in August 2020. Since August 2024, the forum has been continuously supported by the National Science and Technology Council through the Academic Summit Program.
