本實驗室研究方向以轉譯科學為主，以動作與認知神經復健、健康老化相關，藉由實證治療的研究方法，創新治療手法如侷限誘發治療、鏡像治療、機器輔助訓練、認知與運動複合式訓練、雙重任務訓練來改善動作或認知問題，研發輔助之治療媒介如電刺激、感覺動作刺激、非侵入式腦部刺激，探討其療效，並進一步藉由腦影像學、腦電生理、生物力學客觀具體的量測，機器學習的運算，觀察特定疾病或症狀的轉變歷程，追蹤治療的立即與持續成果，探求病理機制，建立偵測或預測模型，另外，致力於臨床評量工具效度化，將研究成果推廣於臨床實務，冀希跨領域整合，尋求最先進之神經復健研究，與國際接軌，且應用於臨床實務，促進健康服務品質。

Our laboratory focuses on translational science, primarily in the areas of motor and cognitive neurorehabilitation and healthy aging. Through empirical research methods, we aim to develop innovative treatment techniques such as constraint-induced therapy, mirror therapy, machine-assisted training, cognitive and motor combined training, and dual-task training to improve motor or cognitive impairments. We also work on developing therapeutic interventions such as electrical stimulation, sensory-motor stimulation, and non-invasive brain stimulation to investigate their therapeutic effects. Additionally, we utilize neuroimaging, electroencephalography (EEG), biomechanical measurements, and machine learning algorithms to observe the progression of specific diseases or symptoms, track the immediate and sustained effects of treatments, investigate pathological mechanisms, and establish detection or prediction models. Furthermore, we strive to validate clinical assessment tools and promote the translation of research findings into clinical practice. By integrating interdisciplinary approaches, we aim to advance the field of neurorehabilitation research, align with international standards, and apply our findings to enhance the quality of healthcare services.
